Indoor and outdoor finishes for covering residential and contract spaces
Today, concrete effect porcelain stoneware is one of the most popular trends with architects and their clients alike. Thanks to finishes which accurately reproduce the tactile and visual characteristics of the inspiration material, these products provide the basis for distinctive indoor and outdoor design schemes with all the technical performances of porcelain stoneware. They bring the contemporary elegance of concrete to sophisticated, hard-wearing stoneware floor and wall tiles.
Material by Marazzi is a new collection of porcelain stoneware, also available in a large size, which provides a very elegant interpretation of concrete, with a fine-grained grit emerging unevenly on the surface, creating a flawed texture with a natural, slightly worn appearance. The new Material collection's contemporary, metropolitan look is ideal for the interior design of locations such as lofts and renovated industrial buildings, but also for striking, fresh design schemes for farmhouses and other exclusive rural projects.
With a range of colours running from white to dark grey, by way of more delicate shades, Material is the natural choice for severe, masculine interiors with British overtones or for more intimate rooms with a Scandinavian mood. The colour range accurately reproduces the typical hues of concrete through its wide assortment of greys, but it also offers the cosy, familiar look of hand-made tiles in warmer shades.
A new product suitable for installation with minimal joints, thanks to the large rectified sizes, and for linking indoor and outdoor areas with a unifying design motif. In the extra-thick 20 mm version with structured surface, Material is useful for creating indoor-outdoor continuity, and can also be installed dry on grass, gravel and sand, as well as on driveways and raised floors.
